In the forever-changing world of managed care Dr Jaiswal (Dr."J") strives to create the ideology of what a family doctor should be. She strongly believes that most medical conditions are a product of a complex interaction among the physical, emotional and spiritual states of a person. She also believes a patient should be able to trust their doctor. She greatly values the trust placed in her by her patients, builds on it and develops long lasting relationships with them. She has a holistic approach to medicine using herbal supplements as part of her practice. She enjoys dealing with patients of all age groups, treating a variety of illnesses & establishing a long-term relationship with them. Dr Jaiswal (Dr. "J") wants to continue to develop excellent clinical skills and judgment as she continues to grow her practice and provide the highest quality of medical care.
Dr Jaiswal (Dr. "J") was born in India and moved to the United States in 1999. She graduated with honors from her medical school. She is board Certified in Family Medicine. She completed residency in family practice at The University of Health Science center at San Antonio in 2004. She enhanced her career by teaching and lecturing in physiology to medical students. From her busy schedule with work and family she finds time to volunteer at a free clinic. She is a member of many organizations including American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physician and Texas Medical Association just to name a few.
Dr. “J” as her colleagues know her has recently joined The Southwest Family Medical Associates. She chose this practice in order to make a difference. Dr. Jaiswal really felt that she had found a home to give compassionate care to those who are really in need. She loves taking care of a family over a long period of time administering compassionate, competent and complete health care. She is everything you want in your “Family Doctor”
On a personal note she lives in Coppell with her husband Vilkesh who is a staff pathologist at John Peter Smith hospital. She is enjoying motherhood with her daughter Aarushi and Anaya. Reading, hiking, surfing, traveling are some of her hobbies that she avidly pursues in her free time.
